This short safari starts in Arusha and takes you to the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The 264sq km (101sq mi) Ngorongoro Crater is famous worldwide for its panoramic views within the 610m intact caldera. You will have a great time viewing a vast array of animals, including rhinos, lions, foxes, groups of elephants, and different types of antelope.
Very Early in the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel in Moshi or other accommodation in Arusha from where we depart. We will drive directly to Ngorongoro, and within 4-5hours, we will be at our destination. Enjoy a game drive inside the crater, where you can view elephants, eland, hartebeest, and endangered rhinos, among other wildlife. There are also resident zebras and wildebeest in the crater that do not participate in the annual migration. Hippos are found in the permanent freshwater pools and the swamps in the crater. During the game drive, we will stop for a picnic lunch. We will return to Arusha in the afternoon and drop you off at your accommodation or at the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your night flight back home.
