FAQ
FAQ Expand All
FAQ 1; How physically demanding is the transition from Mount Kilimanjaro straight to a wildlife safari?
Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is a serious high-altitude undertaking that physically challenges your legs and endurance. To guarantee maximum comfort and physical protection, The Vicmos has custom-engineered this itinerary to include a mandatory 1-day dedicated rest and rejuvenation day in Moshi right after you descend the mountain. This allows you to indulge in hot luxury lodge showers, enjoy a professional massage, wash your clothing, and completely recharge your body so you hit your Serengeti safari phase feeling 100% energized, clean, and physically refreshed.
FAQ 2; What are the sleeping arrangements like during the mountain and safari phases?
This premium combo package prioritizes maximum physical comfort by completely avoiding traditional ground camping on the mountain. Throughout your 6-day Kilimanjaro trek, you will sleep inside permanent wooden A-frame cabins managed by the National Park, complete with raised mattress bunks and shared dining halls. During your Serengeti safari phase, you will stay in ultra-luxury, walk-in canvas tented suites at properties like Serengeti Kati Kati, featuring private en-suite flush toilets, hot safari showers, and comfortable king-sized beds under the stars.
FAQ 3; What are the luggage restrictions for the domestic flight from Serengeti to Zanzibar?
-
- Because your direct flight from the Seronera Airstrip to Zanzibar Island is operated on regional executive light aircraft (such as a Cessna Grand Caravan), there is a strict luggage limit of 15 kg (33 lbs) per passenger. All gear must be packed inside soft-sided duffel bags rather than rigid, hard-shell suitcases to fit securely inside the aircraft cargo pods. The Vicmos will happily collect any excess city clothes or international baggage before your mountain climb, store it securely at our Moshi headquarters for free, and arrange for it to be safely delivered directly to your resort room in Zanzibar.
