Day 1
Hotel Pickup in Dar es Salaam → Fly to Nyerere
Your driver collects you from your Dar es Salaam hotel for the transfer to the airport and a short scheduled flight to Nyerere National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at camp, then head out on an afternoon boat safari along the Rufiji River — gliding past hippos, crocodiles, and some of Tanzania's richest birdlife as the sun lowers over the water.

Overnight: Siwandu Camp (luxury, lakeside) or Sand Rivers Selous (luxury, riverside), or Something Similar
Day 2
Full Day in Nyerere National Park
A full day combining morning and afternoon game drives through Nyerere's varied landscape of open plains, miombo woodland, and river channels. Nyerere holds one of Tanzania's largest populations of African wild dog, alongside strong numbers of lion, elephant, and buffalo. An optional guided walking safari is available for guests wanting an on-foot perspective of the bush.

Day 3
Sunrise Boat Safari → Fly to Dar es Salaam → Hotel Drop-off
One final activity before departure: an early sunrise boat safari, the coolest and quietest time on the water. Return to camp for breakfast, then transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Dar es Salaam, with drop-off at your hotel or connection to your onward departure.
